Driving to Kennedy Meadows

From Los Angeles, head to Rt. 14 north.  The 14 merges with the 395 near Inyokern.  A few more miles north is Pearsonville (last gas and fast-food).  About a mile north of Pearsonville, turn left on Nine Mile Canyon Road, which becomes Kennedy Meadows Road.   From Bakersfield, the scenic route takes you past Kernville and over Sherman Pass and into Kennedy Meadows.  

While there is currently no cell phone service in Kennedy Meadows, there is pay phone in front of the General Store.
